Our Farm

At the heart of Eckington Manor is our farm, home to our award winning pedigree herds of Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle; Lleyn sheep; and Gloucester Old Spot Pigs.  Our farm is part of the Higher Level Stewardship Scheme, operating in a manner which protects the environment in which it lies, encouraging wildlife by maintaining habitats required and ensuring that the land is ethically farmed.

Consisting of 260 acres of water meadow pasture, based on the River Avon and located in an area of outstanding natural beauty, our guests are able to walk on the footpaths surrounding the farm and enjoy much of the entertainment daily farm life has to offer!  Lambing and calving times can be very exciting, grab a pair of binoculars and stroll to our hides where you’ll find an abundance of British birds or try and spot “Raffles” the farm cat on his daily rounds.

Wherever possible ingredients for the Cookery School, our accommodation and shop will be sourced direct from the farm, orchards and vegetable and herb gardens.
